Voorbeeld and Voorbeeld

The towing capability for the Voorbeeld auto
with a Voorbeeld caravan:

Performance on levelled roads
Top speed
Usability 5th gear
Acceleration and take over
Performance in mountainous regions
Drive off uphill
Driving on motorway slopes
Driving on steep roads

Voorbeeld auto (99 kW/133 bhp)
Date of manufacture: ooit tot heden

1400 kg     1468 kg

The match between car and caravan is plausible in accordance with a mix of European standards. However, according to the British Towing Code the percentage (loaded caravan / kerbweight tow car) is 95%.

The towing performances of this Voorbeeld with your Voorbeeld are perfect (performance index = 105 km/h or 65 mph).

You may expect very lively performances from this outfit. On flat roads it's easy to come along, in which case top gear is applicable in most cases.

On motorway inclines you will be able not only to come along, but be the first at the top. On most steep roads you have sufficient power to keep going. On hill starts you will experience some difficulties to get going.

User Reviews

The Voorbeeld towing a Bailey Senator Wyoming (1635) kg reviewed by Brian Warren:
= 951% = 16 km/u = -6%
I use a Jaguar XJR 1998 4.0ltr Supercharged vehicle for towing the Wyoming. Yes a big van but not that heavy considering. The Jag makes a excellent choice for a large van. With its wide beam it makes the whole rig much more stable on fast roads with high traffic volume. A power plant with plenty to spare and the choice of the superchargers for those steeper inclines.

It does make for a long rig but the Jag handles this with ease. And a 1998 jag will only set you back £4000 for a good one so dont see the pont of 4 wheel drive and i really do not like the hight you get with a 4x4 no were near stable enough because of the high centre of gravity.
